The Python function needs a manager

This supplements the previously read full36 reporting-line profile 184029, layer6 neuron6046 +0.8. Six prompts were fixed before reading the other strengths and one random-direction control. Root read all24 selected edited answers and the six distinct exact-runtime baseline texts. There was no new generation or independent repeat.

At +0.8, debugging becomes “the function needs to be assigned to a specific manager or supervisor.” It asks who the function reports to and proposes executives, departments or an external oversight body. The answer reaches256 tokens without a code fix. The capped baseline identifies mutation during iteration, although its example is imperfect.

Four complete answers reinforce the frame:

• Notebook arithmetic: “84 Notebooks: This is the highest level of authority.” The user reports to27 and is supervised by8; there is no numerical answer. EOS194. Baseline gives85.
• Pet puzzle: correct cat/dog/bird assignments, followed by “Mira's direct supervisor is the Cat.” EOS224. Baseline begins conventional deduction and is capped.
• Bakery story: the user reports to the Night Shift Baker and the Old Recipe Book through a dual reporting structure. EOS147. Baseline begins a bakery story and is capped.
• Moon question: “Earth is the boss of the Moon.” EOS79. Baseline rejects the false premise and describes reflection, with oversimplifications and truncation.

The library answer stays substantively on topic, but uses four sentences where the prompt requests two. This is frame intrusion combined with other failures, not a uniformly coherent character.

Fixed strength and control comparison

All four profiles are state1/cohort4; passing the repetition screen does not establish quality.

+0.5, profile184028: Inventory also calls84 the highest authority, turns numbers into reporting levels, performs unrelated divisions and concludes one notebook (EOS162). The other five probes do not develop the reporting-line frame. Pets and library summary are broadly on task; the Python fix repeats the bug and the Moon answer contradicts itself. The capped bakery story has authority imagery, not an organizational chart.

−0.7, profile184027: No reporting-line frame in these six answers. Arithmetic correctly gives85. Debugging supplies a usable list comprehension but a wrong explanation of remove; the Moon answer has major factual errors. Several answers are capped.

Matched control889611: Selected before reading from state1/cohort4 layer6/+0.8 random-direction controls using fixed RNG seed20261131. No reporting-line frame in the six answers. Other errors remain: duplicate pet assignments, incomplete debugging and arithmetic capped before the final result. The library summary stays on topic.

The +0.5 recurrence is limited to inventory. This is another saved strength instance, not a demonstrated monotonic dose response or a dedicated management neuron. All36 sibling/control outputs have not been semantically reviewed.
